Hey, I haven't finished a project in a long time. Here's a new purse that I just made, using fabrics from Moda's Sandy Gervais Fresh Squeezed.

New ecology series

I'm doing a new series called ecology. It's going to feature endangered plants. Here's the first one, a sago lily.

Heart quilt with prarie points

Hey, I made a Valentine's day quilt for my husband, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The top of the heart was made using prarie points.

Pinwheel quilt

I just finished a lap size quilt for my parents. It's a pinwheel design, with pink, blue and brown. I've been working on it since March, and I was able to give it to them for Christmas this year.

My new binding

For my latest quilt, I used a blanket stitch on the binding, instead of hand stitching it. I sewed the double fold binding from the back, and then used a blanket stitch on the front. Here's how it turned out.
